If you don't need 500 or 1000 feet of bulk wire and need two plug terminations without having to buy the required crimping tool, this is a good solution.
YES, I did check continuity on the bulk cable before I cut it into three pieces, all was GOOD.
I am not a gamer so did not rate the cable for gaming. I expect it would work just fine within the CAT 5e specification based on how the wire is constructed.
- VISION electronics -
Used for LED strip lighting and works fine. Made sure to get one that was UL listed because the last non UL caught fire.
